Busy moto-x weekend

CEBU, Philippines - Next weekend will be fully-loaded for motocross riders as two events are set one after the other.

On August 11, there’s the Lipata Motocross at Power Sport Racing’s resident racetrack in Lipata, Minglanila.

The following day will be the 1st Mayor Michael Rama Invitational Motocross Cup at the South Road Properties.

The motocross battle at the SRP has been planned last summer yet supposedly as part of the Cebufest, but did not push through when the multi-sport event was cancelled due to budget constraints.

With this back-to-back event, many riders from other areas outside Cebu are expected to join.

Teams from Luzon, other areas in the Visayas and Mindanao have already sent feelers.

Both races are organized by PSR Men and Machine led by Jonas Adlawan.

PSR, however, will still be fielding in entries in the said events with Jonas’ son, Jon-Jon leading the cast. -  THE FREEMAN
