- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol - The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - Jon-Jon Adlawan went home with a championship trophy plus a runner-up finish in the 1st Mayor Robburt Librando Motocross Cup in Badian the other day.

Adlawan, who is backed up by J.O Racing Honda of Denmark and Kopiko/Energen, bagged the open production title and placed second in the pro open division.

The civil engineering student from the University of San Carlos missed a double victory after he figured in a mishap during the first heat of the pro open race.

Donark “Dondon” Yuson clinched the pro open crown, while Adlawan's teammate at PowerSports Racing Jubenile Abellar settled for third.

Adlawan’s other comrade in Ian Reyes, on the other hand, finished second to Jougee Basco in the novice class, while Donkey Sanchez wound up third.

Basco also topped the intermediate class followed by Andrew Canlas and Reyes ended third.

Sanchez still has something to cheer for as he grabbed the open enduro and underbone titles.

Keiz BJ Motors big boss Seigfred Ornopia stole part of the show by lording it over in the veteran A category over Rocel Gungob and Gener Sicad, who topped the veteran B at the expense of Pantaleon Busquit, and Butch Flores.

Seigfred’s sons also made waves in their respective classes.

Ken and Keizer Ornopia were first and third, respecrively, in the peewee division, while Bryle finished second in the mini class won by BJ Pepito.

Denmark Supatan did not go home empty handed as he ruled the beginners open after edging out Junior Disipolo and Rolly de la Calzada.
