All set for Sogod triathlon event this Saturday

CEBU, Philippines - It's all systems go for the 2nd Sogod Mayor Moonyeen Durano Triathlon Cup this Saturday at the Alegre Beach Resort and Spa in the northern Cebu town of Sogod.

The organizers will provide free transportation to the participants. Pick-up time is set at 8 am at the open parking lot of SM City-Cebu. They will be transported back to Cebu City at 9 pm.

The race kicks off with the SuperTriKids at 2pm at the aqua-sport facility of the said resort.

The standard triathlon distance, on the other hand, begins at 3 pm followed by the half-distance and relay competition at 3:15pm. The duathlon and half-duathlon is scheduled at 3:45 pm.

The awarding and dinner party is at 6 pm at the Crescent Cove.

For those who have not yet registered, one may enlist at Runnr and Rudy Project in Ayala Center-Cebu or at the Brick Tri Shop in J Center Mall.

Entry fee is pegged at P1,000. On-site registrants will be assessed with P1,200. - THE FREEMAN
