Cebuana shines in US

CEBU, Philippines - Cebuana Mae Lozada is making the most out of her trip to the U.S as she bagged two titles in the recently-concluded Yankee Classic DanceSport Championship at Marriott Hotel in Boston.

Lozada, who is paired with Dumaguete's Dennis Sy, won the adult pre-championship international Latin and Yankee classic amateur rising star championships.

Lozada's performances, especially in the adult pre-am featuring four dances, had her wearing a stylish costume from Acre.

This is the second time that Lozada and Sy paired in a competition, the first of which was the Philadelphia Festival and Dancesport Championship last April.

Lozada and Sy blended well right away as they also got the pre-champ Latin gold that time.  (FREEMAN)
