3rd leg of Kartzone series set June 23
CEBU, Philippines - The third installment of the 10-leg 2012 Kartzone Superkart Series billed as "Taking Charge" will take place on June 23 at Kartzone racetrack in Brgy. Kasambagan, this city.
As the theme suggests, the participants are expected to go faster and improve on their performances in the first two legs.
The categories to be contested include the Formula Honda cadet, novice mini ROK, KT novice, masters and expert.
Aside from the top honors in each class, the participants also hope to pile up points they need to boost their chances for the 'Karter of the Year' award.
Tonyo Carcel currently leads the KOY race with 89 points followed by Jette Calderon with 77 points, Joseph Rojo with 68 points, Sean Veloso with 39 points and JT Gullas with 38 points. THE FREEMAN
