Outstanding Consolacion cage clinic achievers get feted

CEBU, Philippines - The top individual performers of the 2nd Hon. Mayor Teresita Alegado Summer Basketball Training Camp were formally honored in a simple rites recently at the Consolacion Sports Complex.

Named MVPs in their respective age-groups were Lee Michael Dahil, Lloyd Chavez, Christian Jay Alilin, Reanu Jayme, James Kyle Mendoza, Chrisian Jay Malagar, Ralph Niemes, Jonathan Malmisa, Butch Tejero, Ralph Jay Goc-ong, and John Paul Yap.

The other MVP honores were Christian Jay Alilin (little mini), Raymondo Elagyos (mini) and Jokoy Reuyan (midget).

MC Louie Vacunador and Seth Dindin were cited as best shooters, Niko Herbias and Adrian Rey Bellanosa as best passers, MC David Vacunador and Tyron Tagadtad as best dribblers and Patrick Pepito and Yuji Visda as best defensive players.

Organized by Hon. Nilo Ferraren assisted by head trainer Paul Alelu Q. Flores and the Club Amigos, the month-long camp was fully supported by Consolacion Mayor Teresa P. Alegado, Vice Mayor Aurelio Damole and the rest of the sanggunian members in cooperation with Provincial Board (PB) members Thadeo Z. Ouano and Arleigh Sitoy. — (FREEMAN)
