CEBU, Philippines - The Accenture Sharks and ePerformax Reds shackled separate foes for a rousing 3-0 starts in the Sun Cellular-presented 8th CSCC E-League men's basketball tourament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Jasper Loreto carded in 14 points and Michael John Delavin scored 13 as the ferocious Sharks of Accenture swallowed whole SSI Pure Science, 51-36, while Raymond Dennis Tan netted 11 points and five steals as ePeformax whipped the Kyocera Frontiers, 51-41, to also stay undefeated in three starts.

Accenture dictated the tempo of the match from start to finish. The Sharks opened an early 18-10 lead before racing its way to a 12-point advantage at halftime, 30-18. They further outclassed SSI in the final half to come up with a 15-point romp.

No player cashed in twin digits as SSI Pure Science slipped to 2-2 win-loss record.

ePerformax and Kyocera, on the other hand, fought on a level playing field at the outset resulting into an 11-all deadlock after the first 10 minutes of play.

After taking a shaky 22-18 lead at the turn, ePerformax mellowed down in the third period, but closed the game with a 19-11 spurt to frustrate Kyocera at the final buzzer.

Ariel Ramonito Edera had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Eliot Emerson Uy added 10 points, four rebounds and two assists for Kyocera, which saw its two-game winning streak come to a sudden stop.

In the other duel of a featured triple-header, the Teletech Titans banked on a deadly one-two punch of Sherwin Emmanuelle Resilla and Lourenz Limpangog to hammer out a 79-71 victory over the Teleperformance Lions.

Resilla erupted with 27 points on top of seven rebounds and two steals, while Limpangog pumped in 23 markers and six rebounds for Teletech, which joined the Sykes Pioneers at second place in Southern Conference with identical 3-1 win-loss records.

Teletech never looked back after piling up a dozen-point edge, 24-12, at the end of the first quarter. Teleperformance closed within two points, 49-51, but Teletech made a 28-22 scoring run in the windup to seal the deal.

Frenche Bonn Petallo and Marco Antonio Real connived for 30 points, seven rebounds, five steals, five assists and two blocks, while Jose Romero Padigos added 13 and Ronald Canoy had 11 points and four rebounds, but their efforts were to no avail as Teleperformance crashed to its second loss against one victory.
