CEBU, Philippines - Over P10,000 in cash prize is at stake for the winners of the Mr. Perfect Body Bodybuilding Competition 2012 scheduled to be held on May 27 at the Pacific Mall Activity Centre in Mandaue City.
"We're now on our 17th edition of this annual tournament. We were not able to hold one last year, but this time I decided to continue it due to the prodding of some local bodybuilders," said Mr. Perfect Body proprietor Nancy L. Yukayguan.
Under the theme "Health is more than wealth," the champion of the fitness competition wherein participants will show off their well-chiseled muscles will take home P5,000, while the second and third placers will pocket P3,000 and P2,000, respectively, on top of trophies and medals.
The fourth to sixth will get P500, P400 and P300 plus medals.
The pre-judging will be done on May 26 from 2 to 4 pm also at the Pacific Mall.
Before the contest proper on May 27, there will be a Zumbathon from 1 to 2 pm. It is open to all health and fitness buffs for free.
