Queen City seeks payback against Pachanga
CEBU, Philippines - The Queen City United FC seeks no less than revenge when it takes on the top-ranked Pachanga FC at the start of the second round in Division 2 of the 2012 United Football League (UFL) today at the University of Makati. Game time is set at 3 pm.
During their previous encounter, QCU lost to Pachanga by a matchstick, 1-0. After that debacle though, the Cebuano booters racked up eight straight wins to take the No.3 spot at the end of the first round with 35 points on eight wins, two losses and one draw.
Pachanga emerged as the topnotcher with 31 points on its unblemished 10-0 record.
To bolster its campaign, QCU will field in six new players. Whether they have already adjusted to their system remains to be seen.
After Pachanga, QCU will face next the All-Japan FC at the Alabang Country Club.
At the end of the tournament, the top two squads in Division 2 will be elevated to the elite Division 1 next season, while the last two squads in Division I will be relegated to Division 2. — (FREEMAN)
