CEBU, Philippines - The action-packed 2012 MS Motosuit Motocross Series resumes with back-to-back events next week in the northern Cebu town of San Remigio, starting off with the 1st Tambongon Youth Motocross Festival on April 21.
Co-presented by Petron Philippines in cooperation with Du Ek Sam, the third leg of the annual race also serves as the 14th edition of the highly-anticipated Ornopia Cup scheduled on April 21 in Brgy. Calambua, San Remigio.
"This is in keeping with our tradition. The spread of motocross of Cebu started in Calambua, that is why we're making sure that the event would become bigger and better each year," said MS Motosuit big boss Lou Ornopia.
Sel-J Sports executive Jay Lacnid as well as top Mindanao rider Ted Conde will be coming over to grace the twin events.
Ornopia will announce further details of his upcoming tournaments during the weekly SCOOP-Cebu forum on April 19 at Baseline restaurant.
After Calambua, action shifts to Panugnawan, Medillen with the staging of the inaugural Panugnawan Motocross Competition on May 19. The fifth leg will be dubbed as "Mayor Butch Sepulveda Motocross Cup" slated on May 29 in Brgy. Logo, Borbon.
"It's going to be an exciting summer treat for all motocross enthusiasts. I hope they will come to watch and enjoy the show," said Ornopia. - THE FREEMAN
