CHEDA Darts League finals set this Friday

CEBU, Philippines - A dozen players advanced into the final round of the 3rd City Hall Darts Employees Association (CHEDA) Singles Darts League set this Friday at the Yayoy's Grill and Resto Bar along Orchids Street in Brgy. Capitol Site, this city.

Leading the pack of qualifiers is defending champion Roniel Pedroza, who placed second bracket A along with Jerome Perales on identical 5-2 win-loss record. Reyden Colinda topped the group with only one defeat in seven games.

The other top finishers from their respective brackets are Rodmar Branzuela, Boy Campugan, Steve Montenegro and Caloy Narita with 6-1 win-loss cards.

The rest of the qualifiers include Alvin Vila and Rap-Rap Dalisay (5-2), Frank Bejec and Jomar Amerol (4-3) and Winnie Ocañada (3-4).

The finalists will play under the 501 best-of-3 double knockout format.

The tournament, held weekly since December last year, is part of the Cebuano players' rigid preperations for the cash-rich 4th Cebu Ciy Mayor's Cup-M. Lhuillier National Darts Open set from April 20 to 22 also at Yayoy's Grill. — (FREEMAN)
