Chariz & Caleigh scores in FYA
CEBU, Philippines - Team Chariz & Caleigh stunned the previously unbeaten Grand & Jai, 73-64, in the continuing action of the 4th F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) basketball tournament at the Brgy. Tisa gym.
In the other game, Wendell Ramoneda scored six straight points including a clutch basket in the final one minute of the contest to lift Simple Likes to a 77-76 drubbing of CMK Trading.
Chissar Llegunas and Eman Reubal connived for 40 points as Chariz & Caleigh tallied its second straight victory after dropping its first game.
On the other hand, playing coach Noel Medalle and Ryan Villaver netted 19 markers apiece, but it was Ramoneda's endgame explosion that spelled big difference for Simple Likes.
