CEBU, Philippines - The Oriental Port and Allied Services Corp. (OPASCOR) cruised to its fourth straight win at the expense of AC Sports, 88-72, in the Christian Athletic Volunteers (CAV) Invitational Basketball Tournament the other night at the Brgy.Tejero Sports Complex.
Former UV Lancer Jaysar Esperat topped OPASCOR withs 24 points, while Nog-Nog Saga chipped in 21 markers.
AC Sports was actually ahead by two after the first period, 10-8, but OPASCOR charged back with a blistering 31-14 rally in the second period to mount a 15-point advantage at halftime, 47-32.
OPASCOR never looked back from thereon.
Earlier, Man Santa Maria stayed unbeaten in three games after pulling off a 71-70 squeaker over That’s Right, 71-70.
Densing and Jack Echavarria had 27 points combined for Man Santa Maria.
