Cebu Dragons face Manila Nomads
CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Dragons face a tall order right in their first game as they take on defending champion Manila Nomads at the start of the Philippine Rugby Football Union National 10s League today at the Cebu International School (CIS) field in Brgy. Talamban, this city.
The Cebu Dragons, however, are confident heading into the match as they have already defeated the Nomads in another event here last year.
The Dragons will be bannered by Bob Booth, Paulino Chiu, Jr, Rammel Sumagang,Vicente Brocas and Johann Noh at the forward position.
Manning the backline are Jerry Branzuela, Rodney Kandy, Lester Loma, Maxen Leonardi-Scotto, and Homer Bangay.
On the reserve list are Geoffrey Veraces, Daryl Victor Alcantara, Filomeno Catubis, Rodelio de los Santos, and Richard Pantz.
The Cebuano rugby enthusiasts will have an added treat as the organizers will hold a touch rugby demo clinic and an exhibition match.
