LWCC, ACES now 2-0 in FCABL hoop

CEBU, Philippines - The Living Word Christian Church (LWCC) and Athletes for Christ through Evangelical Service (ACES) bested separate foes in contrasting fashion to go 2-0 in their respective divisions in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Basketball League (FCABL) at the Living Word and the SHS gym.

Living Word coasted to its second straight win at the expense of Cebu Bethel Temple (CBT), 60-51, while the Christian Workers Basketball Association (CWBA) finally barged into the win column after edging out Couples Living Word (CLW), 94-88, in the other 35-above match.

The ACES of coach Al Solis, on the other hand, drubbed Praise Cathedral, 63-50, to join Bradford United Church of Christ, Inc. (BUCCI), Bible Baptist Church (BBC) and Bradford United Church of Christ in the Philippines (BUCCP) atop the 34-below leaderboard with similar 2-0 records.
