CEBU, Philippines - Organizers of the Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival decided not to hold the event this year, but promise to organize an even bigger battle on May 30 to June 2 next year in Ormoc City.
Many have been eager to take part in the event this year based on discussions in cycling web forums.
Organizers led by lawyer Gregorio “Goyo” Larrazabal, however, felt they needed more time to come up with a more exciting action that they decided to skip this year.
The TLBF has been nothing short of phenomenal, thanks to its sponsors, participants and supporters who all helped make the TLBF internationally-known.
“The TLBF has, through the years, trail-blazed and in the process grew hand in hand with the industry and sport. And the tradition of trail-blazing continues to this very day.
“In this regard, we're doing something for the festival, continually re-tooling the TLBF to make it even better,” said Larrazabal.
In line with this, organizers of TLBF will be releasing event schedules, manuals and guidelines for the new events in the next few months for the cyclists to prepare ahead of time. – (FREEMAN)
