Second SM-2-SM Run set in February

CEBU, Philippines - To highlight the development of SM Seaside City in South Road Properties, SM Prime Holdings lauched the second edition of the “SM-2-SM Run” set on February 12 next year.

The run will start and end at the north wing of SM City Cebu. It will pass through the South Road Properties going to the property of SM Prime Holdings where a new SM mall will soon rise.

The categories to be contested include the 21K, 12K, 6K and 3K. There will also be a couples division for the 21K and 12K.

Race director and running doctor Potenciano "Yong" Larrazabal III said they are expecting close to 5,000 runners to join the event.

The champions will pocket P30,000 for the 21K, P10,000 for the 12K and P5,000 for the 6K.

All 21K finishers will receive a specially designed heart-shaped medal, while winners in 21k and 12k couples category will enjoy an overnight stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Registration will start on December 15 at the SM City Cebu. Entry fee is pegged at P700 for the 21K, P550 for the 12K and P250 for the 6K and 3K categories inclusive of a race shirt and an eco-friendly bag filled with goodies. (FREEMAN)
