APEX holds running clinic

CEBU, Philippines - Considered as the biggest and most scientific running school in the country, APEX Running School has finally come to Cebu to help locals enhance their skills.

The APEX Running School headed by US-trained Exercise Science coach and Philippine Team conditioning coach Jim Saret gave a first glimpse of their much talked about running clinic the other night at the Parkmall grounds, which are participated by close to one hundred runners.

“We revolutionize running clinics and we put the science in running,” said Saret.

“We hope we can penetrate here in Cebu and it’s a good thing here to help runners to make running safer and more fun.”

Event organizer Architect Alan Choachuy said that they are planning to hold more running clinics next year and bring the program here in Cebu to help more get proper running training and tips to avoid injury.

“Hopefully mga early next year mausban ning running clinic diin mas daghan ang makaapil,” said a former Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition contestant, who uses running as one of the activities that made him successful in losing weight.

“Mas mo-increase ila stamina and mas mupaspas sila. We need to know the proper technique, dili lang ta pataka og dagan kay ma-injury ta.”
