Convergys, Teletech maul foes in E-League hoopfest
CEBU, Philippines - Defending champion Convergys Wolves and Teletech Titans mauled separate rivals in the continuing action of the Cebu Powerade E-League Basketball Tournament the other day at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Convergys kept its unbeaten record intact with a 124-41 massacre of Kyocera. Ronald Mabanto topped the Wolves with 19 points, while Dean Junber Escalon, Emmanuel Auman and Joseph Espanola connived for 43 markers.
In the other match, Teletech spared no mercy against Accenture, 100-62. Sherwin Anghay paced the Titans with 22 markers points followed by Lourenz Limpangog and Sherwin Resilla with 18 points each.
Meanwhile, Calltek won by forfeiture over Executive Boutique.
