Cansojong drubs Lawaan I in Talisay hoop
CEBU, Philippines - Team Cansojong outsmarted Lawaan I, 73-65, in the seniors division of the 2011 Talisay Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament at the Talisay City Sports Complex.
Lawaan had a good start, but Cansojong played better in the second and third quarter that gave them a comfortable lead going into the final canto.
Even as Lawaan made more baskets in the last quarter, it was not enough to take away victory from Cansojong.
Herbert Abasanta and Emmel John Salgado led Cansojong with 39 points combined.
In the Sangguniang Kabataan division, San Roque spared no mercy in burying Pooc B, 100-38.
