Pinoys face tough test in muscle contest

CEBU, Philippines - Pinoy bodybuilders will have to work extra hard to win the 2011 Mr. and Ms. Philippine-Asia Invitational Bodybuilding Championships on October 20- 21 at the City Sports Club-Cebu with a bunch of foreign entries joining in.

So far, a total of eight countries have signed up for the event including Malaysia with six entries, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Thailand with two delegates apiece, India with three bets and New Zealand with six.

Host Philippines, on the other hand, has 83 competitors.

Many elite musclemen have decided to take part in the contest with a very attractive prizes at stake not only for the overall champion but also for each class winner.

The overall titlist will take home P150,000 worth of cash prize and products combined plus trophy courtesy of Muscle Gallery.com based in Chicago, Ensayu Gym equipment and Keifei.

The class champions, on the other hand, will get P22,000 worth of cash and products, while the second and third placers will take away P8,000 and P5,000 worth of cash and product by Hardcore Company and Sinangag Station, respectively.

The pre-judging will be held on October 20 at Holiday Plaza Hotel, while the final battle will be on the following day.

This event is organized by the Unified Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of the Philippines and Workout Fitness Center.
