D'Old Greats leads dart fest

CEBU, Philippines - D’Old Greats leads the finalists in the classified 3-man team event of the 2011 Mayor Rama Barangayan Dart League at Yayoy’s Grill along Orchid Street, this city tonight.

From a total of 16 teams, only eight remain for the final round set tonight until tomorrow.

D’ Old Greats is manned by Jun Navales, Arnel Guba and Winnie Abella.          The other seven other squads that made it to the top 8 are Magic, Smoking Guns, Cherry Outs, T80’s, Adike Hot Darts, Double Shooters, and I Love Darts.

Although D’ Old Greats is on top of the standings going into the final round, the 3-man team title remains anybody’s game with seasoned darters spread in different teams. 

The Magic squad has Arnel Guba and Steve Montenegro, Smoking Guns with Dick Ramirez and Rodmar Branzuela while Cherry Outs has Alvin Villa and Nilo Janson.

T80’s, on the other hand, is led by Yoko Quillope, Adike Hot Darts with Reyden Colina and Jerome Perales while the veteran Boy Campugan spearheads Double Shooters.

I Love Darts team have lesser-known darters in Dario Potot, Jojo Martinez and Yummy Rensulat, but they promised to pull some surprises as well in this Cebu City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA)-organized event. (FREEMAN)
