CEBU, Philippines - Riders could look forward to a bigger and better racetrack in the next edition of the Keiz BJ Motocross Series as Phoenix Cyclomax Titan 4T forged a business partnership with Keiz BJ Motors.
The tie-up between the two companies will commence on the staging of the 6th Keiz BJ Anniversary Motocross Competition set on Augiust 21 in.
Phoenix Cyclomax Titan 4T motorcycle oil is one of the products of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, which is based in Mindanao.
This is the first time that Phoenix Petroleum has sponsored a motocross event here in Cebu.
"First time namo ni nga mopaluyo og motocross dinhi sa Cebu. Ang third leg 'tuning' namo para sa next leg. Kon adunay mga kakulangan karon nga leg mapasupot namo sa sunod leg," said Phoenix lubes and chemicals account manager Geoffrey Viñalon.
Dumaguete’s Irwin Uypitching is the man to beat in the premiere experts class in the third leg.
The likes of Burnok Mangosong of Davao City, Jovie Saulog and John Flores are out to give Uypitching a hard time in his bid for back-to-back victories.
Aside from racing in the experts class, Mangosong will also showcase his "freestyle" skills.
Aside from Phoenix Cyclomax Titan 4T, also supporting the upcoming event are Jonathan Cuyos, Haojue Phils, Nanding Pedriano, Maternell Academy, Cebu Mufflerhaus, Tommy Vega, Renante Tigue, JCP Trucking, Joy Flores, Erwin Agustino, Fiel Ornopia, RMO Motorparts, NC Racing and Zigfred Duterte.
In a related development, Phoenix is also eying the sons of Seigfred Ornopia, the man behind Keiz BJ - in Earl Jean Brylle, Ken Kerry and Kerry Keizer as endorsers of Phoenix Cyclomax Titan 4T here in the Visayas area.
The Ornopia siblings are among the young riders who have the potential to be top caliber athletes in the future with their attitude and determination to win despite their age.
"Plano nako nga ako sila himuong endorser sa Visayas. Na-engganyo ko nila nga bisan pa sa ilang pangedaron, nagpakita na sila og katakus pagpalupad sa motor," said Viñalon. (FREEMAN)
