CEBU, Philippines - Team istorya.net slammed Kunstof uPVC Windows and Doors,70-36, in the 2011 Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) basketball tournament-The Cebu Landmasters’ Cup at the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu gym in Canduman, Mandaue the other day.

More to it, the win paved the way for istorya.net to take a solo lead in the overall standing with 4-0 win-loss card. Earlier they beat Kiki’s Catering/JAPFA, Fiesta Cebuana Caterers and then San Remigio Beach Club before mauling Kunstof.

RDAK/Edcon Glass and Kiki’s Catering/JAPFA, on the other hand, share the no. 2 spot with 3-1 cards following their respective victories.

RDAK/Edcon Glass grabbed its third straight win after a bad start at the expense of Fiesta Cebuana Caterers, 82-47, while Kiki’s Catering/JAPFA pulled a 71-60 triumph against Gaisano Capital.

One of the early favorites, Kia Motors/White Gold, logged an 80-73 win over Jolli Traders International.

The two other games of the day saw Mackent Enterprises drowning San Remigio Beach Club, 59-49 as Dynamic Power stopped Filmon Hardware, 60-44.

Kia Motors/White Gold now stands at 2-1, Mackent has a 2-2 record and Filmon has 1-3. (FREEMAN)
