Gaisano Capital leads winners' cast in SHAABAA

CEBU, Philippines - Gaisano Capital kicked off its title campaign with a 49-39 win over Kunstof UPVX Windows and Doors at the start of the 2011 Sacred Heart-Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA)-Cebu Landmasters Cup at the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu gym in Brgy. Canduman, Mandaue City.

Last year’s third placer A+ Structures/ECO Blocks proved too much for Filmon Hardware, 76-45, while Kia/White Gold prevailed over San Remigio Beach Club, 69-60.

In the other games, Dynamic Power outsmarted RDAK/Edcon Glass, 47-44 win, Mackent Enterprise pulled off a 64-46 triumph over Fiesta Cebuana Caters, while Istorya.net joined the list of opening day winners at the expense of Kiki’s Catering/Japfa, 52-40. (FREEMAN)
