Lexmark, Calltek pummel foes in E-League

CEBU, Philippines - Lexmark Stallions and Calltek Trojans bested separate rivals in the continuing action of the Cebu Powerade E-League Basketball Tournament 2011 the other day at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

The Stallions overpowered Eperformax Reds, 61-51, behind Ellery Ariate and Franco Angelo Cipriano who connived for 29 points, while the Tojans spared no mercy in pummeling SupportSave Dragons, 86-48.

Eperformax’ Joel Nebria and Ignatius Loyola had 27 points combined in a losing cause.

In the other match, Aerl Genebraldo paced the Trojans with 19 points followed by Jan Pierre Gellez with 18. Mark Louise Gellez, Christian Judilla and Cedric Junius Uy contributed 12 points apiece in the 38-point demolition.
