Sogod triathlon slated July 23
CEBU, Philippines - After showcasing their wares in Negros Oriental recently, Cebuano triathletes gear up for the 1st Mayor Moonyeen Durano Triathlon on July 23 in the municipality of Sogod.
Competitors will battle through 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 40km bike and 10km run.
Those who will register from July 1 to 10 will be assessed with P600 for the individual category and P500 per athlete in the tandem or relay.
Regular fee is pegged at P800 for the individual race and P700 each member in the relay inclusive of event shirt, food and race bib. Deadline for submission of entries is on July 20.
The champion in both men and women's division will receive P3,000 each, while the second and third will take home P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.
The top three finishers in each age-group and tandem/relay will receive medals. (FREEMAN)
