CEBU, Philippines - Mark Magsumbol and Harold Sta. Cruz each scored 13 points as the RDAK-Mandaue Cebu Landmasters eased through a 67-60 victory over the MisOr Meteors yesterday at the start of the Cebu City leg of SMC Liga Pilipinas Conference V at the Cebu Coliseum.

It was a close battle at the start resulting into eight deadlocks and 12 lead changes before the Landmasters of team owner Jose Soberano and coach Jun Tan coasted to a three-point headway at halftime, 34-31.
The Landmasters kept their composure to mount their biggest lead of 11 points midway in the third period, 45-34, which they never relinquished until the final buzzer.
The Landmasters, who gun for their second straight win when they take on the Ilocos Sur-CS Tigers in today’s opener at 4 pm, dominated the Meteors in almost all facets of the game, outrebounding the wards of coach Jun Noel by a mile, 52-38, aside from taking a 16-10 advantage in second chance points.
