CEBU, Philippines - MS Trucking thwarted an endgame rally by Marty Pimentel (MP) Brokerage to escape with a 64-59 victory, while Alin Customs Brokers needed extra five-minute period before getting rid of CG Brokers, 87-83, in the Cebu Customs United Personeros Association (CCUPA) CCBI basketball tournament last Saturday at the Benedicto College gym along AS Fortuna Street in Brgy. Banilad, Mandaue City.
In the main game of a triple-header, host CCUPA led by club president Yoly Cena bounced back from an upset loss to CG last Thursday and vented its ire on the CEBAMA Brokers.

Vincent Pangue topscored for the 4-2 Pimentel with 16 points, while Kenneth Maningo added 15 markers.
Earlier, Ryan Villomo, who appealed to the committee to let him play inspite of an incomplete uniform, led the Alin Brokers with 17 points, while Israel Alin added 15.
