CEBU, Philippines - Organizers of this Sunday’s My Chase Run at the Asiatown IT Park in Apas here have already exceeded their target number of participants even before the deadline set.

As of press time, there are now 2,300 runners joining in the event, 300 more of the target.

Runcheck’s Kenneth Casquejo, who is handling the event, said they are anticipating that the total number of entries could even reach to three thousand.

Today is the deadline for registration for the event presented by Silver Wing Motors along with Philippine Iino Corporation and Honda Philippines.

Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 15-kilometer run and P250 for the 6 and 3-k action.

Aside from cash prizes for the top performers of the different categories, more runners decided to join the event hoping to get lucky in the raffle draw wherein a brand new Honda Wave 100 motorbike will be up for grabs. (FREEMAN)
