CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Society for Industrial Security (PSIS)-7 Shootfest fires off today at the NS Outdoor Firing Range in Brgy. Tawason, Mandaue City.
The event is open not only to members of the PSIS, which is anorganization of Certified Security Professionals, but to all enthusiasts.
The competitors will be dealing with a total of five course according to its match director Glenn Java, who is also a director of PSIS-7.
Registration fee is pegged at P500 which include a free lunch to participants.
Aside from the shootfest, the newly elected officers of PSIS-7 will also be taking their oath on the same day.
Atty. Michelle Mendez-Palmares leads the new set of officers after being re-elected president.
The other officers are shootfest chairman Retired Chief Insp. Raul Rendon as vice president, The Freeman managing editor and Cebu City Sports Commissioner Nimrod NL Quiñones as secretary, Edgar Gica II(treasurer), Marlon Mesina(auditor) and Teodis Buma-at, Glenn Java, Nestor Lumapas, Greg Mercado, Earl Perez, and Warren Te as directors.
