CEBU, Philippines - Two outstanding sports personalities who once brought tremendous pride and glory to the country will be given due recognition as they will be formally enshrined into the hallowed portals of the Cebu Sports Hall of fame in a grand ceremony starting at 10 am today at the Cebu City Hall Social Hall.

This year's revival of the Cebu Sports Hall of Fame gets a new twist as the Cebu City Sports Commission will also be giving due credit to several coaches and sports officials for their invaluable contribution to the development of Cebu sports.
CCSC chairman Edward Hayco said before the installation of the new Hall of Famers, the city government will also hand out give plaques of appreciation to some coaches who are actively involved in CCSC’s grassroots development program for the past six months.
“It’s just right that we give them due recognition as our way of thanking them for all their efforts. They have no allowances, yet, they go out of their way to train kids,” Hayco said.
