Guba, Amora rule Baseline Sinulog darts

CEBU, Philippines - Even with a different partner, Arnel Guba managed to post back-to-back wins via the Baseline Sinulog Dartfest at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.

After ruling an event at Yayoy’s Grill, Guba, who was paired with Macross Amora this time, survived a tough final match against Jerome Perales and Roniel “Kulot” Pedrosa, 2-1, 2-1.

Perales and Pedrosa enjoyed a twice-to-beat advantage but Guba and Amora proved to be the hungrier and more determined tandem.

Toybatz Bandolon and Neil Nacua snatched the third place honors, while Steve Montenegro and Jomar Amerol wound up fourth.

Finishing at joint fifth and sixth were Alan Bejuna and Nilo Janson and Boy Campugan and Tasyo Rama.

Alvin Villa and Wennie Abella along with Frank Bejec and Oning Bacalso shared the seventh and eighth spots. - THE FREEMAN
