CEBU, Philippines - The Argao Mud-Trail Run 2011 at the Argao Nature Park in the southern town will test the skills of runners in a new level.
The battle in Argao will have 3-k and 7-kilometer events for both the male and female open divisions.
The event organized by the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Michael the Archangel along with the Municipality of Argao is held as one of the activities in-line with the 26th local Worth Youth Day celebration.
Registration fee is pegged at P200 which entitles the runner to a head gear and race number, route map and refreshments at the finish line.
More to it, participants get to enjoy the Argao Nature Park for free -- try the zipline, wall climbing, boating and the Argao zoo plus get to visit the Balay sa Agta and Argao sandbar.
Free transportation will be provided for all registered runners. Pick up areas are at Fuente Osmeña, SM City-Cebu and the Cebu City Hall.
Registration centers are Runnr in Ayala Center Cebu and at the PSC Office in the Cebu City Sports Center.
Cash prizes will be given to the top 3 runners plus special prizes for the best in costume, dirtiest profile for both the male and female division and for the couple. (FREEMAN NEWS)
