Thank you!

Merry Christmas everyone!

In this special season, let us give thanks for all the blessings that we got during the year and wish each one the best whether they made us feel good or bad during the year.

Of course it’s not easy to be very nice to everyone especially when you are trying to get a parking space in the malls. Well this is also a stressful season both physically and financially hehehe…

Watch what you eat though because your whole year of trying to keep fit might just get blown away after several parties.

To all, who made 2010 a great year for this deadline beater, thank you! To all, who made it a not so great year, thank you still! To those, who made this a bad year, we still give you our thanks for reminding us that life is not perfect and we have to continue striving hard to become better people.

This Christmas I would like to thank my family to having been very tolerant of my crazy work schedule and my absences in many gatherings.

I would also like to thank my sources of news, who patiently help me out by providing results and leads so that I can write them in the paper. The same goes to my fellow workers and staff of this paper.

Thanks also to all the readers, who we owe our existence to.

Of course thanks also to the management of The Freeman for allowing me to continue doing something that I love.

I probably would have done much better financially had I pursued my childhood dream to become a doctor or an astronaut, but I guess being a journalist isn’t exactly a bad choice in terms of fulfillment with what I do.

I also made many friends (and enemies), who I could not have met had I become a doctor or much more had I become an astronaut.

My eight-year-old daughter has been bugging me since early December as to what gift I wanted for Christmas. To a child, this season often means getting this and that and having new toys or clothes.

When I told her that all I wanted was to be loved by my family, she seemed confused at first, but later she said that I already got that from her and also her mom and brother.

One thing that always completes my Christmas is being around family and this year is truly a wonderful one with all my in-laws in town and all my aunts and uncles from my father’s side also here.

I’ve never had a Christmas like this.
