CEBU, Philippines - Over a hundred players are raring to show off their skills in the much-awaited Thirsty Cup, which will get underway on Monday at three venues.
Among the young stars to watch out for are the likes of Iggy Pantino and Mac-Mac Tabotabo.
The three-day event is a PHILTA-sanctioned tournament for junior players aged 18 years old and below.
The boys 18, 16 and 14 categories will be be played at the Cebu Country Club, the girls 12, 14, 16 and 18 will be at the Casino Español, while the boys 12 and unisex 10-under will be at Baseline.
Registration fee is pegged at P350 inclusive of t-shirt and Thirsty drinks. Entry forms are available at Thirsty outlets in SM, Ayala and Robinson's Place.
