De los Santos, Carolino dominate MO Plus footrace

CEBU, Philippines – Mary Grace de los Santos sustained her winning streak, even as Joebert Carolino also stole part of the show during the inaugural MO Plus Run yesterday at the Asiatown I.T. Park in Brgy. Apas, this city.

De los Santos topped the women's 15K race after edging out Madelyn Carter, who had been laying low from competitive running for a shortwhile.

Christy Sevilleno-Tutor, Cebu's former road running queen, remained unsuccessful in her bid to regain ger throne as she could only make it to third place this time.

Carolino, on the other hand, ruled the men's open after a tough battle against Southwestern University's Philip Duenas. Elmer Bartolo took the third place honors.

In the men's 5K action, Joel Delposo came out the fastest, while Jordan Bacung and Ian Bernido took the second and third spots, respectively.

The fast-rising Mary Joy Tabal dominated the women's 5K followed by Aiza Suwaybaguio and Crizel Diongson. (FREEMAN)
