8th leg of MS Motosuit motocross series on today in Carcar

CEBU, Philippines - After topping several legs, Jon-Jon Adlawan hopes to stay in the limelight as the eighth leg of the 2010 MS Motosuit Motocross Series dubbed as the "Mayor Nice Opura Motocross Cup" revs off today at the Ramona Sports and Recreation Center in Brgy. Liburon, Carcar.

A victory will surely bolster Adlawan's chances of clinching the coveted "Rider of the Year" award.

The Abellar brothers Jubenile and Jubanni though are out to give Adlawan a touch challenge, while crowd-darling John Flores, who shifts to higher gear by competing in the experts class, is expected to pull some surprises.

Aside from Adlawan, another former ROY awardee Seigfred Ornopia is also gunning for overall supremacy not only in the executive A but among all the riders.

Seigfred's son Ken Kerry, Keizer and Brylle are also raring to dominate their respective classes - from peewee to mini, in the same way with another multi-titled young rider BJ Pepito.

The likes of Donkey Sanchez, Jun Enriquez and Clark Wagas are the other riders to watch out for in the Castrol Power 1-presented event organized by William Racoma and Rudy Nadela. (FREEMAN)
