Ravanes rules MB race in Busay
CEBU, Philippines - Eusebio Ravanes was the fastest in the just-concluded All-Mountainbike Challenge in Busay here.
Ravanes survived the free-for-all battle being an open competition, not to mention the task they have to do along the way as an added challenge for the 31 entries.
Ravanes finished in three minutes and 15 seconds to pocket P5 thousand and a medal for topping the race.
Joseph Miller was in the event organized by the Cebu Extreme Bikers' Union (CEBU) and Citi Avenue Bikeshop with a 3:28 clocking.
Ritchie Gonzaga logged 3:27 that would have made him second placer, but was penalized after he got caught with a violation.
Gonzaga was relegated to fifth place.
Perlito Colegado placed third with 3:55 and Cliff de la Cruz was fourth with a 4:24 clocking.
On the other hand, the equally exciting downhill competition saw Geronimo Alguno and Carlos Russell winning their respective classes.
