Rama darts finals to start this Friday

CEBU, Philippines - Organizers of the 2010 Mayor Mike Rama Inter-Barangay Darts Competition have moved the final battle of the said event to this Friday at Yayoy’s Grill along Orchid Street, this city.

The event’s final round of this three-month long event was supposed to start last Friday, but had to be moved due to other events in line with the Halloween.

The first event in the final outing will be the four-man team competition.

Although this is said to be an inter-barangay event, members of each competing team do not necessarily belong to one barangay as darters are living in different areas in the City and only a few of them could make up a solid line-up for the four-man action, which forced organizers to decide to make it a mixed competition.

After the four-man event will be the classified doubles and then open youth singles for upcoming darters here.

The awarding ceremony is expected to take place on the 12th of this month. (FREEMAN)
