CEBU, Philippines – The fifth edition of the annual Seminary Fund Run is set on November 28 starting at the Seminario Mayor de San Carlos grounds in Mabolo, this city.
The unending need of seminarians as well as the ongoing renovation of the 60-year-old Seminario Mayor de San Carlos building among others made organizers decide to push through the event.
Instead of getting discouraged because of the multitude of running events taking place here, the organizers are even hoping for more runners to join in, targeting an ambitious 4,000 entries.
The race featured the 3K, 5K and 10K.
The 3K is for fun runners and kids 12 years old and below, the 5K action will have the all-MEPZ, priests, seminaries, students and media category, while the 10K is for the men and women's open and priests.
Registration fee is pegged at P250 inclusive of a singlet and snacks. Entry forms are available at the Cebu City Sports Center, Ayala Center Cebu and Park Mall. (FREEMAN)
