CEBU, Philippines – Eric Deen led the winners of Cebu Country Club's October Monthly Medal last weekend shooting an even-par 72 strokes to bag the lowest gross honors.
Deen, a multiple winner in the annual club championship, fired nines of 35 and 37.
The class A title went to Jufil Sato, who shot a net score of 69 off a gross 76. Runner-up honors went to Nonoy Tirol with a net score of 70.
In class B, Eric Borja also had a net 69 off a gross 87 to win the title while Ma-nila-based Michael Go had another fruitful trip back home as he bagged the runner-up honors with a net score of 70.
Hiroyuki Saito won the class C plum with a net score of 64 strokes and runner-up honors went to Fred Agor with 68.
Katashi Nagata won the class D title with a net score of 73 edging Tony Baltazar in the countback. Baltazar settled for the runner-up honors.
The seniors' title went to Max Borromeo with a net score of 69 while runner-up honors went to Bugs Unchuan with 72 strokes.
Hiroshi Shoji ruled the guest division shooting a net score of 74 while Tedd Al-mario was the runner-up with a net score of 77. (FREEMAN)
