CEBU, Philippines – The multi-titled David G.Lim or simply DGL made Bacolod's racetrack a virtual playground as he grabbed the most number of titles in the latest leg of the Philippine Autocross Championship Series to lead the Cebuano race car drivers' success.
Aside from the titles he got, Lim spiced up his bid in Bacolod by posting the best course time of one minute and 6.238 seconds.
The titles DGL got include the all-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, open and modified light expert titles.
DGL's son, David Jr. also showed the Negrenses that he got his dad's deadly form by grabbing the modified heavy novice, modified light novice and super street light novice class titles.
Another DGL Racing team bet, Mato Tan did not go home empty-handed himself as he bagged the all-wheel drive title and clocked the second best time of the event at 1:06.285.
Kartzone's Derek Arculli who got the third best time of 1:06.487 also had his hands full as he won the all-Miata, street heavy, super street heavy expert and super street light expert classes.
Jess Garcia, also of Kartzone, made sure he also had something from Bacolod by dominating the modified heavy expert crown.
Cebu-based Team No Care Racing came up with three titles through the efforts of Dennis Corro who bagged the super street heavy novice, street heavy novice and all-automatic classes. (FREEMAN)
