Villa, Colina rule MSFDL darts

CEBU, Philippines - The tandem of Alvin Villa and Reyden Colina ruled the Metro Sydney Filo Darts League (MSFDL) Cebu Friendship Game Open Double Darts Tournament at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.

Villa and Colina grabbed the title after edging out Boy Campugan and Steve Montenegro.

Wennie Ocañada and Macross Amora took away the third place honors after beating Morex Galanza and Odong Pamatian, the lone Cebuano who made it to the national finals of the 2010 Philippine Open Singles Darts set this weekend in Manila.

Alan Veloso and Roderick Bacon placed fifth followed by Joy Dindin and Rodmar Branzuela.

Event sponsor Rod Ramas and Nilo Janson wound up seventh, while Roger Dequit and Wennie Abella came in eighth. (FREEMAN)
