M.O. Plus Run set this November
CEBU, Philippines - Seeing running as an effective medium to send its message across, another company is staging its own event dubbed the M.O. Plus Run 2010: Labanan Ang Malnutrition on November 21 at the Asiatown I.T. Park in Apas, this city.
The J. Nissi Bioherbs Incorporated along with Runcheck aim to increase the awareness to the dangers of malnutrition.
In line with this, Nissi Bioherbs introduces one of their products, the MO Plus, all natural multi-vitamins mainly containing malunggay to supplement one’s health needs. Malunggay is said to be one of the few herbs that actually contain vitamins A to Z.
Assuring that this is not just a marketing strategy organizers said they will be having activities at the IT Park that will tackle about malnutrition.
Aside from that, the sponsors of the event led by Luigi Sanchez, Snyder Su and Brian Madroñero also bared that they are currently coordinating with the Cebu City government regarding with the city’s health program that they can partner with showing that they are really committed to making fellow Cebuanos especially in oppressed areas to be malnourished-free.
The Children’s Hour Foundation is also a beneficiary to this event.
As for the running event, the November 21 event will be featuring three race lengths -- 3, 5 and 15 kilometers.
Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 3 and 5-k run while the 15-k action will have P400 entry fee. Registration starts on October 15 and ends on November 18 at the Cebu City Sports Center and at the Ayala Active Zone.
Participants of the event will be getting more than what they will be paying for with an event shirt that utilized a cloth used by premiere brands on their dry-fit shirts plus a box of M.O Plus worth P177 and a chance to win exciting prizes during the raffle draw.
M.O Plus users can also use empty boxes as registration fee or get a rebate of P50 per box. (THE FREEMAN)
