Isla Sugbu sweeps elims in Powerball cage tilt

CEBU, Philippines - Isla Sugbo of team owner Oliver Seno and playing coach Boy Te demolished Unilink Shipping, 87-72, to complete a five-game elimination round sweep in the Powerball President's Cup First Conference basketball tournament yesterday at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.

Inting Reyes, who is the ultimate offensive weapon of Isla Sugbo and inseparable with all teams mentored by Te, topscored with 20 points.

Danrey Baclay nailed 16 markers for Unilink of team manager and Powerball president Paul Quiñanola.
