Cebu Blue Marlins sends 38 tankers to Tagbilaran swimfest

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Blue Marlins Swim Club plunges back into action via the G-League Short Course Age-Group Swimming Championships at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex in Tagbilaran City tomorrow.

CBM will be sending a total of 38 swimmers, 26 of which are studying at the University of Cebu.

The UC bets include Mathew Angelo Cañeda, Joshua Rosada, Israel Gabunada, Frtiz Tamara, Giselle Bagano, Danielle Mae Ballesteros, Beth Mae Arellano, Cristine Indaya, Joyce Huguete, Je Rose Rosada,Trina Cañeda, April Mhel Angelie Garcia, Merlyn Silva Romylin Niña Ignacio, Anthony de la Peña, Cielo Osorio, Danre John Lumapas, Christopher Paolo Zosa, Noel Cañeda, Michael David and Paula Abigail Vega, Pierre Niño Bagio, Felix Cristobal Vega, Mary Arlette Vega, and Aimee Sanchez.

CBM coach Rolando Alvarez will also field in the Navarro siblings - Anthony II, Lyh Ann and Anthony Linn of Cebu Eastern College along with University of San Carlos’ Aaron Grant Embuscado, Tara Kyla and Tristan Kirk Ebon and Razel Cabajar, Labangon Elementary School’s Jobert and Karen Indaya, and FBC Christian School’s Michael Ichiro Kong.

In its bid for the overall supremacy, the Cebu Blue Marlins is expected to face tough opposition from the Bohol Dolphins, Negros Oriental Blue Dolphins, Silliman University Red Snapper, Iloilo Sea Warriors, Binirayan Tadpoles, Capil Eaglerays, Aklan Aquablades, and the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club. – THE FREEMAN
