Darts tourney tonite

CEBU, Philippines - The second Jack Leslie Ocañada Darts tournament unfolds tonight at Yayoy’s Grill at Orchid Street, this city.

Registration is set to start at 6 pm while game starts at 8. Entry fee is pegged at P50 only.

The event will be a classified doubles competition, partners of which will be determined by blind pairing.

Darters will be playing in a 501 best-of-3 format.

A total cash prize of P5 thousand will be up for grabs in this event dedicated to the youngest son of one of Cebu’s well-known darters Winnie Ocañada, the late Jack Leslie who was also a darter.

Aside from that, this event also serves as tune up game for a World qualifying event in the Visayas set next month here in Cebu. – THE FREEMAN
