Carolino, Suwaybaguio rule Silliman University Run

CEBU, Philippines - Jobert Carolino and Aiza Suwaybaguio’s topped their respective divisions in the Silliman University Run yesterday at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center-Cebu.

Carolino ruled the men’s 10K with the time of 33 minutes and 53.11 seconds, while Adonis Singson clocked in 34:25.14 to secure the second place honors. Reprinel Banzon finished third in 34:49.20.

Suwaybaguio dominated the distaff side with the time of 44:37.95. She was trailed by Sharon Vega in 45:11.53 followed by Maricar Duran in 1:04:4.30.

In the 5K action, Ian Bernido got the top spot in 16:58.86 while Crizel Diongson reigned supreme in the girl’s side with the time of 22:04.98.

In the 3K run, James Noval took home the crown with a 10:19.48 clocking, while Lorna Olarita got the top spot in the girls side with the time of 11:01.23.

Two-year-old Althea Banzon got a special award as the youngest participant, while Sky Cable’s running squad bagged the biggest delegation award with 60 entries. (FREEMAN)
