The 16-point victory did not happen until the final 6:35 mark of the contest when the Webmasters shattered an 81-all deadlock after Jaguars' center Kurt Amores tied it for the last time.
UC then unleashed a deadly 11-0 punch to change the course of the match in its favor, 92-81. They further rip the game apart with 19-point advantage, 102-83, on Edward Pao's basket.
The Webmasters, thus, joined nine-time champion University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers on top of the leaderboard with clean 3-0 slates.
Down by a hairline at the end of the third period, 73-74, the Webmasters greeted the fourth period with a three-pointer from Gearld Ampoon as they seized the upperhand, 76-74. From that point on, they wasted no time in pounding on the Jaguars midway through the final canto by using their quickness and Fajardo's superior height advantage.
Kevin Juliane had a monster game scoring 22 points, while Heruela, who banged in back-to-back triples early in the fourth, added 19 points. Pao had a slice of the victory cake with 15 makers.
The Jaguars, who joined the USPF Panthers at the cellar without win in three starts, were led by Amores with 18 points. Jun Lapiz added 15 points, while Jason Nudalo and rookie guard Benjamin John Capillar both scored 12 in a losing cause.
